Light in the Dark: Annual Holiday Fundraiser and Celebration

Western Maine Art Group to Host Annual Holiday Party:
Important Fundraiser to Keep
Arts Center
Open All Winter

 There are certain hallmarks of the season which always bring cheer and ring
in the holidays. The Western Maine Art Group Annual Holiday Party is one of
those favorite signs of the season.

 This year’s party will be held on Sunday, December 5 from 5
to 8 p.m. at the art group’s gallery, the Lajos
Matolcsy Arts
Center (The MAC) at 480 Main Street in Norway. 

Party goers will automatically be entered into a drawing for
an original piece of art with the purchase of entry tickets and will also have
chances to bid on great deals on local goods and services in a silent auction
fundraiser. Hearty holiday fare, deserts, wine and spirits will be served and
included in the ticket price TBA in October 2010

This annual Holiday Party is the WMAG’s major fundraiser for the WMAG in helping to support the mission of providing opportunities for artists and artisans, and providing broad community access to original arts while partnering with others to create a prosperous cultural environment in Western Maine. This year, proceeds will go toward a total renovation of the historic 143 year old school house which serves as the WMAG's gallery.
