Affordable Original Art Makes Heirloom Holiday Gifts: Small and Affordable Holiday Art Sale at the Lajos Matolcsy Arts Center through December
NORWAY – Where can Holiday shoppers find original art for under $100? At the “Small and Affordable Holiday Art Sale” at the Lajos Matolcsy Arts Center (MAC) at 480 Main Street in Norway!
Original art makes deeply meaningful gifts which become family heirlooms. Encouraging holiday shoppers to buy original art which invigorates the local economy by supporting local artists and artisans is the intention behind the Western Maine Art Group’s sale at the MAC.
“Small and Affordable: Encouraging Holiday Shoppers to Purchase Original Art” features Western Maine paintings, wearable fiber art, sculpture, jewelry, photography, painted bottles, books and films by local writers and much, much more. Most pieces are in the $30 to $99 price range.
“Wonderful art can be affordable. We hope this holiday sale and exhibit will help people envision what beautiful and meaningful holiday gifts this local artwork can make while supporting the local economy and a 47 year old community nonprofit organization” said WMAG Director Aranka Matolcsy.
